Armory Skate Shop in Front Royal, VA is the vision of local resident Drew Buracker. He has been an avid supporter of skateboarding for several years and has dreamed of opening his own shop some day. When the former skate shop in Front Royal closed earlier this year, Drew decided, with the help of his parents, to open Armory Skate Shop. Armory Skate Shop can be found on 14 E. Jackson Street and will be opened daily (closed on Wednesdays) from 10 am to 5 pm during the summer.
Besides selling skateboards and related equipment, Drew hopes to support young, local artists by displaying & selling their works in the shop and on the website. Stay tuned for the addition of this endeavor to the website.
Saturday, July 23, 2011 is the 175th anniversary of the Front Royal . There will be fun and games all day with a skateboard Expo at the Skate Park from 12 noon - 2 pm. Come out and join in the fun. Armory Skate Shop and Inebriated Skateboards will be set up in the skate park for your convenience. It's a great opportunity to meet the owner and see what Armory Skate Shop has to offer!
